March 15, 2019: our 501(c)3 letter arrived today! We are officially designated by the IRS as a public charity. Congrats to all!
January 28, 2019: Over a couple of quiet dark winter days I sat at the computer and filled out forms! We are now a registered nonprofit in the state of Missouri and our 501(c)3 tax exempt application has been submitted. With all the government shut down issues going on right now, I’m wondering how long it will take for us to receive an answer.
